Is this a dedicated "event" feature, or just regular sharing?
It's the same sharing and shopping list features CookBird already has, used for a one-off gathering rather than an ongoing household. There's no separate event mode to set up or learn.
Do the people I invite need to keep using CookBird after the event?
No - but the recipe they added stays in their own recipe book afterward, so it's not lost once the occasion is over.
Can I remove someone if their plans change?
Yes, access can be revoked at any time from the Sharing page - their dish and recipe are removed from your shared view, but stay in their own account.
Can I see everyone's full recipe book, or just what they're bringing?
Sharing connects your whole recipe books, not just a single dish - so once invited, you'll see everything in each other's books, not a filtered view of just the potluck contribution.
